The status of the Natuna area as an Indonesian National Geopark, said Itok, is expected to encourage cooperation with the community while introducing rare primates in Natuna. “By increasing investment in the ecotourism sector, it is expected to make a positive contribution to local economic growth and strengthen regional independence,” said Armand Suparman, Executive Director of KPPOD.
