This September 23, Indonesia celebrates National Maritime Day with the theme “Layar Terkembang Menuju Indonesia Maju”. As an island nation that relies on its marine environment, it is important for Indonesians to recognize the conservation and sovereignty efforts being made across the country, especially in the Natuna Islands. Natuna plays a significant role in Indonesia’s economic growth with its vast natural resources and strategic location. Many parties are very enthusiastic about promoting Natuna Island as one of the leading ecotourism destinations in Indonesia, one of which is Invest SEA. In order to celebrate Indonesia Maritime Day, Invest SEA invites Indonesians to pay more attention to Indonesia’s seas. “Let’s make Indonesia and Natuna an inspiration to improve the harmonious relationship between the community and the marine world,” concluded the Deputy Regent of Natuna Islands, Rodhial Huda.
